Top and Bottom Screen

Post by Deme » Sat Apr 11, 2009 1:55 am

Alright so it seems when I go and type something that I want displayed in my program it only shows it on the bottom screen by default. I was wondering if there is a command, or function that will set it to display on top or the bottom screen. I looked through google thoroughly and still failed to find anything about it. Thanks in advance.

If you're using consoleDemoInit(), that automatically setup up a background on the sub screen for text.

There is an example included with libnds for text on both screens.

consoleDemoInit() puts text on the sub engine, which defaults to the bottom screen.

you can switch the engines with lcdMainOnBottom(), so the sub engine will show up on the top screen (and the main engine on the bottem screen).
