GP2x f100/f200 and wiz

Post by DCelso » Tue Feb 02, 2010 1:34 pm

Hello to all,
I'm searching how to compile binaries to the gp2x ("f100 or f200" the gp32 successor handheld ) linux using devkitARM and I don't find anything about it so I will ask.

Is possible to do it? In afirmative case. What is neccesary change to do it?. Is there any file gp2x.rules in anywhere like gp32.rules there is in the official distribution of devkitpro?

And the same asks but compile gp2x wiz (the gp2x-f200 successor handheld).

I found a rar file called devkitgp2x that have similar structure to devkitpro but it not seems official.

Thanks to all for any response.

devkitARM is a bare metal toolchain so it's not suitable for targeting arm-linux.

devkitGP2X was never really released as anything official, really just a build or two to see how much work it would be to build tools for the linux based Gamepark machines. You'll probably be better off with something that's supported - isn't there an official Wiz toolchain somewhere? I know Orkie was working on it but he's not online atm.
