Sorry to go back to this, but what happens when you compile the touch_test example with libnds 1.3.5 and run it with no$gba 2.6? Because this does not work for me, I'm not sure if it's a problem with my installation or something?

The latest updates have tweaks to fix some corner cases on hardware have the handy side effect of making no$ 2.6 work again.
