Make execvp vfork permission denied 1.5

Hi,

I dont know where this is supposed to go, or what is actually going on.

BUT, I installed the latest devkitPPC using the Windows Installer and kept getting:
Make: execvp /sh/bi Permission Denied
Make: vfork Permission Denied

or errors to that effect.
I then installed 1.4.10 instead, and the example compiled without a problem.

Just thought someone ought to know,

Steaky

Which version of Windows are you running?

Do you have cygwin installed on your machine?

Hi,

Sorry it took so long to get back, I completely forgot about it due to it working.
I am running windows XP, and I dont have cygwin (unless it was packaged with devkitpro).

I can't reproduce this locally at all. Is there any chance you might be able to provide some more information?

Which antivirus application do you have installed?
Are you running as a limited user?
Did the installer ask for escalation?
