DSerial EDGE and Slot-2 RAM possible?

Just a quick one, is it possible to use the DSerial at the same time as using RAM in slot-2? I'm half thinking there's a hardware limitation.

Yes, that will work fine, there's no hardware limitation.

i can use the 32MB ram of my slot-2 supercard lite in dslinux (launched from my slot-1 dserial edge).

Cool, I was checking as I have been warping the inside of my head trying to figure out how to write a device driver for DSLinux and wasn't sure it if was possible.
So far I've figured out the following:
The SPI layer didn't get implemented into the Linux kernel until a couple of versions later than the one we use. Rather than backport/upgrade the kernel I'm going to try and build all the SPI stuff into the driver itself.
It's going to be a char driver.
It's making my brain hurt....
