Nintendo Gamecube memory cards still not working in Wii mode
Official Nintendo Gamecube memory cards do not work in Wii mode. Until this is fixed there is no restoring game saves from sd card to official memory cards with GCMM. Woulds be nice not to get the "CARD_ERROR_IOERROR (-5) Internal EXI I/O Error." I know there has to be some bug somewhere in libogc, possibly in EXI. Is someone inclined enough to track it down and fix it?

You got me curious... why do you need to write data to Gamecube cards anyway?

For backing up and restoring gamecube savefiles from (SD<->GC Memory card). This is what GCMM does. You have to use a third party memory card only because nintendo ones don't work (I/O Error).
Now, you could use nintendo memory cards with Datel products only if they were inserted prior to their software being launched. (Max Drive Pro software (for homebrew dols) and Action Replay to hold codes are the two that come to mind. The nintendo card had to already have a code file on it to work with Action Replay though and could not be removed and reinserted because it would no longer be recognized as "action replay hardware". I believe this had to do with the "lock" status of the card.

We believe this is a timing issue related to the higher bus clock on the Wii. It'll probably be looked at in the future but right now it's not a priority.
