Hi,
I'm on Ubuntu powerpc with a powerbook G4, is it possible to install
DevkitPPC and libogc on this system ?
By the way, it's a shame that old mac os like Panther is no more
supported by Devkit and all the other apps in general.
Thanks.

Re: Installation for Linux Powerpc
Unfortunately it's a bit of a pain to support 10.3, it's much easier to create universal binaries for 10.4+ - aren't there cheap 10.4 disks available now? I found a few on eBay for under £25.
As for powerpc ubuntu, the buildscripts should work fine - https://sourceforge.net/projects/devkit ... ldscripts/
Check the readme, you'll need gmp, mpfr and freeimage installed before you start.

Re: Installation for Linux Powerpc
Thank you for the answer, the buildscripts you mention worked perfectly on
Xubuntu PPC(for some reasons I was using old buildscripts).
Regarding osx 10.4, it annoys me to put money in it because I was given this
G4, there's no more battery, limited ram, impossibility to use some self-powered
HDD etc...
So even if mac tiger would bring some improvements, I prefer the cheap solution of
Linux for the moment.
For those interested here is a devkitPPC_r20 for linux powerpc compiled under Xubuntu
