Ladies and gentlemen I bring you ... DSi mode homebrew

This isn't quite what you all want just yet, there's no SD access but it is a means for the average homebrewer to get code running in DSi mode. There's still a bit of work to do on the libnds side - we currently have no touch screen or audio working but it will come.

Genius!

Can somebody with an appropiate level of influences, please, post it on Slashdot so it gets the amount of attention it deserves? Pretty please?

good job I moved hosting a few days ago, I really doubt if the old server could handle a slashdotting :D

Yep, it's still alive.

All jokes aside, this is awesome. Hope you don't mind, I linked to this on GBAtemp.

found time for some reserching.
writePowerManagement(0x10,1) resets dsi to system menu (do same thing as shot press to power button). 0x8 and 0x4 switch on/off backlight on screens. 0x2 — can be set but looks like change nothing.
works on dsi in ds mode.

Excellent, thanks for investigating that. Interestingly the same code causes a full reset in DSi mode - back to the health screen.
