Get nds file icon?

Hello coders,

I want to make a small file browser for my app
and I wanted to ask if there's a function to get

-(a) the game icon of an original nds game in the slot1
-(b) the game/app icon of a nds file on the sd card

Sure you can get the filename of an original nintendo game in the slot1 with eeprom and write
code wich draws the right nds file icon as sprite... But I'm sure there's a better way...!

No.

This is also beyond the remit of the libraries we supply and will not be provided.

(b) http://www.bottledlight.com/ds/index.ph ... /NDSFormat <- check "icon"

Hmm... okay!

Maybe moonshell has such a function...?
Do you know which library it uses?

anybody capable of doing anything useful with the nds file icon is capable of getting it themselves. that includes the moonshell programmer.

But why can't we dump the DS card? Rudolph has done this already, where's the problem?

the problem is that this is a homebrew development site. dumping DS cards is generally the realm of pirates.

dumping DS cards is generally the realm of pirates.
You are allowed to backup your own games.
Maybe you can give me a hint or a source for accessing the ROM arae of the card?

So you don't want to support me a little bit? It's not for illegal stuff!
