I am just getting started with devkitARM and I am looking forward to programming some games for the NDS.
I already have some programming skills though they are a little rusty.
Can anyone suggest any good homebrew that I can look at in Programmer's Notepad to see what I am getting into?

I suggest you look at the libnds examples that are included with devkitarm, they show how to do alot of things on the nds.

there are probably some open source nds games out there, but none that I can think of from the top of my head.
