help with devkitpro and win98

Post by teikuei » Fri Feb 06, 2009 12:24 pm

Hi, first of all sorry about my English... I don't use to speak it.

Well, my problem is that i'm trying to install Devkitpro in a Win98, I've read some post (found one, also spanish, that have same problem). Before installing on win98, I installed it into a WinXP and works perfect, but not in Win98 (the O.S. have all updates including microsoft.net v.2.), in autoexec.bat I write de lines:

SET DEVKITPRO=C:/devkitpro
SET DEVKITARM=C:/devkitpro/devkitARM
SET PATH=C:/devkitpro/msys/bin

If I write "make" in any place it shows:

MAKE: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. STOP

But when I try to compile something, this it what it shows:

- Cannot open - Cannot openMake: *** [build] Error 1
0 [main] MAKE 76007 sig_send: wait for sig_complete event fild, signal -
2, rc 258, Win32 error 0
59995904 [main] MAK 76007 sig_send: wat for sig_complete event failed, signal
-2 , rc 258, Win32 error 0

Any idea???

Thanks a lot!!!

Sorry, the latest Vista compatible version of msys distributed with the installer is no longer compatible with win98. If you really must use 98 then you can replace the msys in your installation with the older 1.0.10 version from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=338156
