help compiling

I new to using devkitpro. Need help compiling a source code. when I go to my windows c:, the c: documents and setting\owners> I try to get it to go to the devkit folder but nothing. Say wrong location.

When I use the devkitpro Msys I get owner@your-47395 and at the bottom $ I tried to do the same thing but nothing. I was wondering wht am I doing wrong?

Can someone help me out. I use the the wizard for windows to install devkit.

The compiler cannot handle spaces in the path so make sure you installed to something like c:\devkitpro
To get to the devkitpri root in Msys, cd to /c/devkitpro
