Compile GCC 4.3.0?

Post by icosahedron » Mon Mar 24, 2008 5:32 pm

Are there instructions or configuration options that were used to compile devkitARM compilers? I would like to update my compiler to 4.3.0 from the 4.1.2 currently bundled with r21.

Thanks.

Wait for devkitARM to use 4.3.0. We don't encourage or support gcc versions other than those in the current stable releases.

Any idea when that will be?

I know it sounds like a bit of a cop out but ... when it's done. Testing is under way with both 4.2.3 and 4.3.0 but there are some other factors affecting the r22 release.

What host OS are you using?

Thanks. I look forward to it. I'm running XP SP2.
