nds-examples : license missing

As nds-examples is distributed in a separate tarball a LICENSE file should be joined otherwise, the license is not known.
May nds-examples dev specify the license of their work and, if possible add it to nds-examples tarball ?

In the absense of an explicity license file, I go by the fact that on sourceforge, the project it is a part of is listed as being licensed under gpl/lgpl.

But I second the request for the license to be included and stated explicitly.
