DS Emulator for windows?

Post by bugshake » Fri Dec 18, 2009 2:57 pm

Hey all,

I've been asked to write a little program to run on a DS, so I've been checking around for the tools and it seems devkitPro is the development environment of choice.

And the emulator seems to be dualis.

However, when I compile the examples in programmers notepad, every single nds file will make dualis crash. I tried some settings but no effect. There's no error message and no log file. It just crashes when executing or running any nds file from the devkitPro distribution.

Should I change some setting? Use a different emulator?

Oh btw I'm running windows XP.

Thanks in advance!

The best DS emulator for windows is still no$gba. Unfortunately the author seems to have disappeared and there have been no further updates. http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm

Desmume is coming on in leaps and bounds these days. http://desmume.org/

Most, if not all, of the other available emulators are basically useless.
