I am completely new to hacking, so I do not have the slightest idea what to do. I think given some help, I can figure it out without too much difficulty. The problem is I do not know what to run.
I wish to look at the coding of NDS games. I would like to convert the code into ARM or some other humanly readable format for analysis. I downloaded all the devkitpro files and compiled them, but I do not know which one to use to accomplish this feat, assuming it is possible. If I know which file to use, I think I should be able to figure it out from there.
I realize I am probably a little out of my league, but a little help would be appreciated, and I think I'm intelligent enough to learn.

If you want to make nds homebrew then all you really need to know is C programming and you can look at the examples in the examples folder to get some help. If your after creating official DS/DSi games then you will have to go another route as the homebrew tools can't be used to make official games. It might help if you provide some more information on exactly what you want to do as your post can be read a number of ways.
If your wanting to look at the actual code that is ran on the DS in an assember format then you might find that your in the wrong place as we normally code for the DS, not disassemble the code on the DS.

Re: Completely New
Then how does one examine code on the DS?
I'm not looking to write code, I'm just looking to read existing code. And Pure Hex isn't really readable. I need code for DS Games in humanly readable language, the more clear the better. I have the files, I just need to make them readable.
