New to DS Homebrew. Guides?

I'm not new to programming in C and C++, so i know the basics, but the problem i'm having is, i don't seem to be able to find any good guides on where to begin with programming the DS with homebrew, all i've been able to find is this http://www.dev-scene.com/NDS/Tutorials and its incomplete. it had a good start, but ended as it was getting interesting. Does anyone else know where i can find some good tutorials on how to program the DS?

there isn't really a guide that is up to date, but http://patater.com/manual is a pretty good guide, although a bit outdated.

other than that, make sure to look at the nds examples that comes with devkitPro.
