getting started

Hello all, im new here!

i landed on this forum because im interested in making DS games, however this is all very new to me so..
i tried installing devkitARM and there is where things are already going not so good.
the installer says "The installation was not completed successfully" and "pspsdk-doc=20051113.tar.bz2 could not be downloaded at this time."

also im not even sure if i should install devkitARM in the first place, also im not sure what libnds etc is.

i would highly appreciate a push in the right direction

You could select devkitARM for install rather than all the toolchains. Looks like I've messed up some files somewhere for PSP, I'll see if I can get that fixed this week.
