I downloaded the devkit and got to the programmer's Notepad but now where do i start (specifically gba programming)? Not to sound stupid but lately I've been procrastinating which meant I haven't even read the manual (where is it by the way?).
Can you guys recommend any tips which can make starting less daunting than it seems.
Additional notes:
I've got exposure to Open GL & C++ is my main language at the moment.

Re: Assolute noob where do I start?
Sadly despite the best of intentions there is no manual, until relatively recently most people that install devkitARM already knew most of what they need to know.
The best place to start with GBA programming is Tonc which uses Cearn's own libtonc rather than libgba. I keep meaning to look at either replacing libgba with libtonc or assimilating large parts of libtonc into libgba but there never quite seems to be the time to do something productive.
If there's anything you get stuck with just ask & we'll do our best.

the installer should also have installed the gba examples (unless you deselected them). that is also a good place to look.
there should also be a doxygen manual somewhere, but I can't seem to find it (is there even one for libgba?).
