Hi there, I'm just beginning with development for the Nintendo DS. I have been experimenting with creating my own game however I have come to a problem when trying to access the touchPosition information.
I've compiled and ran the examples supplied with devkitPro (for example devkitPro\examples\nds\input\TouchTest) and they also seem to have the same problem.
I have just downloaded and re-installed version 1.4.9 of devkitPro however the problem remains. I am testing with DeSmuME 0.9 and have confirmed that it isn't a problem with the emulator by running a couple of commercial DS roms.
Please can someone help! Many Thanks.
Gareth

Re: DS touch screen problem
Unfortunately your test didn't confirm that it isn't an emulator problem - I'm afraid that's exactly what it is.
The only emulator I know of that works reasonably well with homebrew code is no$gba - http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm
There's still no substitute for running on hardware.
