I have created a maxmod fork with two small but useful additions for module playback and sound effects.

Ah, this is why the readme. I commented on the PR. It looks fine if you remove the readme & rebase it on recent changes.

Sorry just catching up on things again. Juggling many things as usual and it can take a while to reply.
